Our Minister of Music and pianist, Dr. Nana Shi, and the UCBR Choir, are happy to present this year's spring concert at Union Church of Bay Ridge, to be held on Sunday, May 4th at 3 pm. The concert will feature instrumental and vocal works composed by some of the most talented female composers of the past 200 years. Despite their great reputations among musicians, their music has been largely unknown by the general public. Dr. Shi will join forces once again with violinist Stani Dimitrova, cellist Adrian Daurov, and violist Chieh-Fan Yiu in the passionate piano quartet by German composer Luise Adolpha Le Beau. The UCBR Choir and soloists will also present art songs and choral pieces by German composer Clara Schumann, French composer Lili Boulanger, Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz, and Indian American composer Reena Esmail.
Suggested free-will donation is $15 for adults and children 13 andolder; 12 and under are free. We hope to see you there!
